Possible future beers

The following are beers we are looking to take in the future so keep an eye out.

Elgood's Golden Newt

Elgood's Golden Newt

Pale in colour with prominent hoppy palate and full flavoured finish, Golden Newt is a pale session bitter of 4.1% ABV. The beer has a prominent hop character; a blend of Fuggles, Goldings and Cascade has been used in the recipe to bring the delicate hop flavour and aroma to the fore. The use of Cascade gives a pleasing citrus aroma. Finest pale Maris Otter malt has been blended with wheat malt and rye crystal to provide a full flavoured beer. The lavish use of late hop dominates the malt flavour and results in a satisfying pint.

Adnams Southwold bitter

Adnams Southwold bitter

A refreshing beer of real flavour - distinctively hoppy and dry with malt aromas. Delicious served cool.

Adnams brewery has stood in the heart of Southwold for over six hundred years and "Southwold Jack" appears on our beer labels. He continues to guard over our longest-serving beer brewed here in Southwold on the Suffolk coast -The Bitter. Bitter goes well with roast meats and fish cooked in batter as the clean bitterness cuts through the slightly fatty notes and hence keeps the palate refreshed. Our Bitter also makes a good aperitif.

Wadworth Small Beer

Wadworth Small Beer

This is a 'Small beer' only by name, with an impressive depth of flavour for its 2.8% ABV strength. Small beer is a dark mahogany beer with a sweet floral aroma, and a body crammed with malt and a slight hint of blackcurrants. This is a perfect Christmas antidote, lower in alcohol but without forgoing flavour. 2.8% ABV

Wayland Smithy

Wayland Smithy

The power of the blacksmith is legendary so this beer combines the best ingredients money canbuy and the skills of the traditional brewer to create a hammering good beer.  Red like the fire at it's heart and balanced with buckets of aromatic hops, it's enough to give other brewers the hump
