The beer has a prominent hop character; a blend of Fuggles, Goldings and Cascade has been used in the recipe to bring the delicate hop flavour and aroma to the fore. This cask conditioned traditional real ale is quite light golden in colour with an EBC of 17 (most lagers are 8-10 and ales 20+) and is brewed at 4.0% ABV. It is brewed with Maris Otter Pale Ale malt and a low percentage of crystal and wheat malt, for flavour and head retention qualities.
